Hi my name is Jody. I have been volunteering with BARCS since December of 2019. I started fostering and quickly moved from there into volunteering.

I am a member at large on the board of directors. I deal with owner surrenders and transports. I have also fostered more dogs now than I can count. Including whelping puppies, which is my favourite thing to do.

What attracted me to BARCS was we never leave any dog behind. Even if we know the dog is sick we bring it back to Canada and give it the best life we can until it is time to help it cross the rainbow bridge. I know to some this may seem like a waste of money but imagine for that dog that never had a life, what even a few months of unconditional love means!
