Female, 2 years, pit bull X

Babe, who we are calling Cali, has been such a sweet girl. She absolutely loves snuggles and attention, if you invite her up on the couch or bed she is SO happy you’ll get her happy grunts. She likes to play tug with her humans in the yard and chases a ball too.

Cali is working on her loose leash walking and loves going for walks. She has yet to react to anyone on a leash. She is a bit interested in other dogs but redirects very easily when she does become interested. She gets along with our dog after a slow and proper introduction, she does play with him a bit but much prefers sniffing and getting love from her people.

She bonded very quickly to me but she seems to be a bit slower to warm up to men, including my spouse. That being said, after a few extra days she now is content getting love and belly rubs from anyone in the house. She does tend to go to women over men from what we have noticed. She is currently living with our 7 year child who she has warmed up to now as well.

She has shown that she is very interested in small critters such as rabbits and squirrels. She cries a bit in her kennel at first but has no issues going into it with a few treats and praise, and she does settle in fairly quickly once she’s there.

She is a beautiful and sweet girl that is starting to show her goofy and playful side. She is a bit unsure of other dogs at first so a slow and proper introduction is necessary for her to feel comfortable. She jumps a bit when excited but is quick with redirects, she would probably do great with a bit of training. She has A LOT of love to give and will melt your heart in no time.
