Female, 9 years, Dachshund, 13 lbs
I can't see a dachshund and not think of Debra. this is a special dachshund to me. normally dachshunds like to bite me. she gentle, sweet, calm and just wants to crawl in your lap to take a nap. she will come up to me and just lean on me but she is depressed in her kennel and I don't think she has truly opened up yet. she came in with 2 other dogs.
Once the dog arrives in care, they will go into foster care for 1 week so we can get to know their personalities better. After the first week, we will post their adoption biographies and review adoption applications or announce that the foster provider has adopted them.
At that time, if you would like to be considered in the event they are accepting applications, please fill out an adoption application.

This dog will be arriving from California in April.
