Spayed female, 3 Years, Formosan Mountain Dog, 29kgs

She sat and looked at me when I first entered the run. She didn’t come to approach me or follow me when I walked around. She would walk toward me after I was in there for a while. (body relax, mouth open, tail up and wagging, ears back). I could touch her when she came to approach me. The staff said she had no problem with other dogs in the run. She came out from the run and would happily walk in front and around the volunteer's smoking area. She refused to walk anywhere further than that area, she would sit down when I tried to walk her anywhere else. She was not scared when she saw people walking toward or in front of her. She ignored when she saw another dog. (body soft, mouth open, tail up and slightly wagging).

CAT TEST: July 2020- Dog has tail up and wagging, glances at cat but show no response. Tail wags consistently and dog its next to handler. When given loose leash dog walks past cat, sniffs briefly with head low, tail up and wagging. Dog then continues walking past cat and sits next to handler. Dog then lies down calmly with tail wagging.

Once the dog arrives in care, they will go into foster care for 1 week so we can get to know their personalities better. After the first week, we will post their adoption biographies and review adoption applications or announce that the foster provider has adopted them.
At that time, if you would like to be considered in the event they are accepting applications, please fill out an adoption application.

This dog will be arriving from Soi Dog, coming into rescue Mid-June 2022.
