Cameo

Adopted

Description

Male, 2 years, chihuahua X, 18 lbs

Cameo is approximately 2 years old and grew up in California. At 18 pounds he is the ideal size, small enough to be picked up, for easy travel, and sturdy enough for people to not have to worry about accidentally hurting him. Cameo’s favorite activities are sleeping in a lap, rolling in the dry grass on a walk, and chilling in his kennel. He is a well adjusted dog, barely barks at all. He usually observes other dogs calmly. He is also good with children. Cameo is a calm dog all around and easy to walk, but hold onto the leash when he sees a squirrel! Cameo is an independent dog, no separation anxiety. He is eager to please and a fast learner. He is a connoisseur, not motivated by treats, and it is best to free feed him. Cameo had a bit of a cough when he arrived, especially when walking. This is very common, and it is also way better now that the leash is not attached to his collar. A harness is highly recommended. Cameo is currently being fostered with two small dogs, a male and a female. They get along just fine, but Cameo felt he needed to mark some of the furniture. Other than this he is fully house trained.

Cameo will require some additional veterinary care (neuter) completed by BARC's Rescue. The adopter will need to schedule and attend the appointments on the BARC's Rescue account.

This dog is being fostered in Calgary.

Adoption costs: $495.00
