We are currently fostering Bronx and as much as we would love to keep him, he and our current dog have shown some jealous behaviour and we think Bronx would be best suited for a home where he is the only dog.

Bronx is a very sweet boy! He is very smart, a quick learner and takes correction very well. He likes treats but he is not food motivated. He does love toys - the squeakier the better and he LOVES to play fetch and will chase his ball for as long as you can keep throwing it!

Bronx does not appear to have any food aggression issues and is so very gentle when taking treats. He loves to be with people and he's a great snuggler. Bronx has not met any children, but he is a big boy so a home with older children would likely be best. He just wants to please his people!

Bronx has not met any cats so we are unsure of how he would react.
Bronx does do well with other calm dogs but needs a slow introduction. He does show signs of jealousy so a home where he can be the centre of attention is important or with experienced humans who can correct this behaviour.

Bronx will bark when someone comes to our home but does respond very well to verbal correction. He does very well in the house and hasn't had any accidents. He will stay in his crate while we are away, but he is not a big fan of his crate, he will need further positive reinforcement to help overcome his hesitation with the crate.

Bronx loves to go for long walks! He is getting better on the leash but does need continued work in this area. He does very well in vehicles, but he is still a bit nervous so if he can snuggle with someone while riding, he will sleep in your lap the entire trip!
Bronx has energy for days and is a very strong boy so a home with bully breed experience would be best.

Bronx does currently have an allergy issue with his ears. We are not sure if this is environmental or a food sensitivity, but he will be taking ear drops for the next three weeks to help fix him up. Potential adopters should be aware that he may need dog food for sensitive skin.

Bronx does show some hesitation towards men and seems to have a bit of fear when meeting new people. Positive socialization will be important. Once Bronx gets to know you though, he won't leave your side!

If you are in love with the bully breed devotion to their people and can give him as much love as he will give you then Bronx is your man!
