If you are looking for the perfect cuddle buddy lap dog, then Keeka is your girl.

This sweet girl is calm and loving. She loves to be close to her people and lets you know when she wants the loving attention, which is all the time. Keeka is most happy when cuddling and laying with you. She is spoiled here and sleeps on the bed with me. I would like a home for her that allows this to continue.

Keeka is good in the house alone and has not had any accidents when left alone for a few hours. She always runs to the door to greet us when we get home.

Keeka is good on her leash. She loves her evening walks and will walk a long time. A quick walk in the rain is ok as well. She isn't fond of the rain, but she won’t let that stop her from having her walk. Keeka does not bark at other dogs on walks, she isn't interested in meeting them, and keeps on walking past them. She walks like she has a place to be, seems to be on a mission. She has great manners and listens very well.

Keeka is very smart, she is also an escape artist. She will need a close eye when in the yard. This may change once she knows she is in her furever home. She will need some time to get to know you and trust you. She can be stressed easily and will want her own space for the first few days. It doesn't take her long to come around for attention, but she will be cautious in the beginning.

Keeka would be best in a home as an only dog. She tolerates other dogs but does not genuinely like to be around other dogs for long periods of time.

Keeka has been good in the house, no issues with chewing and barking. She is house trained and goes outside for her business. She does prefer to do her business on her walks.

Keeka does not like the kennel. I have not kenneled her at all since I got her. I did have her in a kennel to get her home, but she was not happy about it. She eventually did settle down, but she couldn't wait to get out of the kennel. A home that would be ok with her having access to the whole house would be best for this sweet girl.

I do not have cats, but I don't think a cat would be an issue, if the cat doesn't want to play with her.

Keeka loves to sleep with my son, 12-years old, and I feel she would be good with smaller kids (5-years and up) with slow and supervised introductions.

If you think you are the perfect family for Keeka, please come meet her. You won't be disappointed
