Suki is a very sweet, affectionate, and loving little girl. She enjoys being with the people in the house and enjoys meeting other dogs and has done well with dogs of all sizes so far. Although Suki’s paperwork says she’s a Chihuahua mix the fosters believe she has a lot of Jack Russel Terrier personality traits as well.

Suki will pick up items such as your shoes or socks, etc., and carry them around. She will need lots of “her” toys to keep her busy. Suki loves a stuffed Kong toy with treats or peanut butter in it and will work for hours trying to get all the goodies out. She has shown to be house trained and that she loves snuggles!

Suki has done well with the foster’s grandchildren (ages 3 and 8), however, she can bark when overstimulated and due to her age she may be a bit mouthy when excited and playing. She seems to enjoy the company of kids and likes to follow the 8-year-old around a lot as well.

Suki is learning all about proper leash walking and will need some continued guidance on this, but she is improving! Her ideal home could include another dog; however, she is energetic so an adopter who understand that she will need regular exercise. She can be a bit vocal at passing dogs from inside the home and she has not been cat tested so we are unsure of how she would do with cats.
