Please meet Zowie who is, as his foster mum says “… one of the sweetest pups I have come across in my 35 plus years' experience with dogs.” Zowie has come all the way from Thailand, thanks to the wonderful Soi Dogs charity, in search of a better life than he would have on the streets. He is now in a BARCS foster home and all he is asking for is a wonderfully kind, caring and loving home who are patient with his while he learns what life is like for a dog with three legs.
Zowie is approximately 10 months old and very curious. He gets along well with other dogs, especially if they play chase with him when he has a dose of the zoomies outside! Zowie passed the ‘cat test’ at BARCS but has not been introduced to the barn cat at his foster home as she really does not like dogs.
Some of Zowie’s favorite things to do are cuddle with, and give kisses to, his humans. He also loves to play with stuffed doggy toys and chew things (well he is still learning how to be a puppy!). Zowie is crate trained and sleeps in it all night. He also eats in his crate at breakfast and supper time.
Zowie is a handsome bundle of fun, who is gaining confidence every day. He walks well on the leash and is a very social dog who loves everyone he meets. Zowie has not met any children yet, but his foster family have no doubt that he will be amazing with children. He is quiet and rarely barks, although at times he will let you know when someone is approaching the house. Zowie is still working on his basic commands and his furever home will need to continue with the progress he has made.
