Cherry would be better suited in a more low-key and laid-back household.

Cherry is an elderly gal who prefers to nap most of the day. She'll get up and attend the kitchen to do a quick assessment of what's going on, have a quick pee, then retire back to her big fluffy dog bed in my bedroom where it's nice and quiet.

She does not seem overly interested in the other dogs which includes our big pit bull and another chihuahua type dog.

Cherry is not really interested in being touched or held. She will try to half-heartedly nip at me sometimes when you try to pet or pick her up. She will allow me to wrap a blanket around her and "tuck her in" to her doggie bed/nest. When I do pick her up to carry her outside, she is ok but is not a cuddler nor wants to be held for long.

Cherry does not bark or really make any noise. She has not been exposed to cats.

We have a 5-year-old child that she is not particularly bothered by when he is around. She will even allow him to touch her.

Cherry eats well both canned and dry food. She is not house-trained as her elderly bladder goes more regularly than we can get her outside so she uses pee-pads but will go outside. She doesn't seem to like being outside especially if it's a bit cooler, but she will lay on the dog bed in our little dog run if the sun is out.

I think she may be a chihuahua crossed with an Italian greyhound due to her thin and leggy build. She has a unique gait when she walks, with prancing skinny legs. She has a notable head tilt.

I think Cherry would do great in a home where she has endless doggie beds and blankets to snuggle up in. She doesn't seem to mind a little bit of hustle and bustle around her but for her Senior golden years a nice quiet comfy spot would be the best.
