Hi my name is Cooper,
I have a bit of trouble seeing because I have glaucoma but that doesn’t stop me from being a sweetheart. My foster parents have taken me on many adventures but I am kind of afraid of lots of things. I should go to a dog only home because I can be reactive and need to be an only dog. I also need a human that has experience with my breed because i am not a dog for a new bully owner. I have had issues with smaller dogs in my past but if I am introduced well eventually I will warm up to them! I am definitely a ladies man but warm up to men eventually so I would love to go to a very special women. I am very respectful of the house I am in but I need to be able to roam because I am very claustrophobic and tend to chew my way out if I am scared. I love kibbles that taste like fish and am not food aggressive at all. I am very submissive for sure! I’m a leash dog though and probably shouldn’t go to dog parks and be off leash because I don’t see well and stuff scares me and I will probably run away. I don’t pull on my leash walks so I’m sure even if you aren’t the strongest I won’t pull very often if ever. Hiking has become something I am learning to love! I went on a fun hike with my foster parents for the first time and loved every minute of it! I don’t mind kids but they do stress me out a bit so a home without them would be preferable. I love hanging out with my foster sister ( an American staffy) because she is very brave and has helped me come out of my shell so much! I would love to find a forever sister to live with but it would be best if I am in an only dog home as I become overly protective. I love my foster mom a lot and follow her around the house wherever she goes because she makes me feel safe. I really want to find my forever home because it takes me a bit to warm up to my new surroundings. My last foster mom had a cat that I was able to hang out with so I can be around them. I hope I’m the dog you are looking for.
