Rufus is completely house-trained but otherwise looks and behaves like a puppy.

Rufus trusts all people. He will take all the love he can get, is friendly with all people. Whoever sits down on the floor gets Rufus in their lap within minutes. He loves cuddles, from any person, male, female, children of any age.

He walks well on a leash, never pulls, but puts the breaks on as he sees fit. He is still learning that other dogs are not a threat. During the first week in the foster home, he made great progress with socialization but there is more to learn.

Rufus fears plastic crates but is totally okay with a metal kennel.

At night, he goes into a metal kennel in the living room and sleeps well. If he is in the master bedroom, he wakes up and wants attention.
