Hi! I'm Waylon! I would love to be your friend!

I just want to be everyone's friend! I love everyone and love meeting new people, but sometimes can't help jumping up and nibbling at hands when I'm over excited!

I am a very good boy, but still just a big puppy, so you'll have to forgive me if I steal a shoe or something I'm not supposed to chew on. I'm very good at doing my business outside, and haven't had any accidents in the house. My foster parents leave me in my kennel when they're gone, because they're worried I'll chew something I'm not supposed to, and I don't love it, so I whine and whimper in the beginning, but calm down quickly. I don't bark otherwise!

I LOVE CUDDLES. You'll have a tough time keeping me from snuggling you on the couch, I can get comfy anywhere. I also like car rides and exploring new places! I just want to sniff everything and meet everyone! I walk well on leash but sometimes spot a rabbit or deer and can't help but try to chase them, I have a bit of a prey drive but we've been working on it and am doing better. I like to play with my cat foster brother, but sometimes I overdo it a bit, I don't realize my own strength! My recall also needs some work, I get on a trail and it can be tough to get my focus back.

I am quite active and would need a couple walks a day, and I enjoy playing with other dogs. I am pretty fearless and not much has phased me so far, but I haven't met any kids while here, so that would be new! My foster parents think I may be excited and possibly knock them down, but I have showed zero signs of aggression, so I would probably just lick their faces clean! I am good at greeting and playing with other dogs, and would be happy to have a brother or sister with a similar energy level, but also would love a place where I get ALL the attention.

Foster mom and dad say I am super sweet and have so much love to give, but I should probably go to a home with some previous puppy experience to help me be the best boy I can be. I would love to meet you and give you all the kisses!
