Hello my name is Ike, but my foster parents nick named me Zeus. Which is fitting because I am a; like the Greek god Zeus, the protector of the house. I was picked up by Parkland County Shelter with quills all over, you should see the other guy. Even though I had a tussle with that spikey cat I am still very loving towards all cat looking creatures. Did you say walk? I love to run. My foster mama takes me on long walks down the dirt road and I just can’t help but run in the deep snow back and forth. But I always wait for her to catch up. I am a very good listener and very smart. I already know how to sit, lay down, shake a paw and walk nicely on a leash. When I get called I come and sit beside my foster mama. I just met my foster dad and I already love him. He lets me lay on the couch when we watch Yellowstone. I have a best friend. His name is Chuck and he loves to run too. I get along with every dog I see and when a dog says no I listen right away. Do you have kids? I like kids, I am very tolerable to all kids but I don’t know my size so sometimes I knock them down. I would love a family that has a big yard for me to run around in and a family that likes to go on adventures like bike riding or cross-country skiing. Really anything where I can run around and get tired out. I do have a little bit of anxiety but my foster mama is helping me through it with this thing that has treats in it but I can’t seem to get them out unless I move it around. If I don’t get enough exercise or stimulation I have a hard time relaxing but when I relax I really relax. I love to lay next to someone so they can pet me. Well that’s pretty much everything you need to know about me.

He is very good with all dogs and cats. and is good with kids but would probably be best suited for older kids cause he doesn't know his size and will knock them down

Ike was also found alone in Parkland County and his owners never came to claim him. Ike is a friendly guy who enjoys toys and lounging around. He is neighbors with Nosume and they get along great. He loves treat time and when the shelter keepers give him pets. He is a guy that would be a great companion for someone. The people who found him may be interested in adopting him.
