Evie is a very sweet girl. She is affectionate and loves to be cuddled and have her belly rubbed. She likes to be around the family and doesn’t leave our side. She loves the snow and chewing on her toys. We only started potty training her two days ago, but she is already doing her business on the puppy pads regularly. She is getting along very well with our 6-year-old German Shepherd, following her around…like a puppy… and being deferential during mealtime. I’m not sure our 20-year-old cat likes Evie, but Evie hasn’t done anything to deserve it and keeps her distance! She is good with the kids, they are Gr 8 and Gr 10, and I would expect her to be gentle with younger children. She is not aggressive although she is playful.
She is a quiet pup, however when she is lonely in her crate, she does bark. We are trying to sleep train her now. Evie is a darling and would make a great addition to any family!

Evie was born in care on November 24, 2022. Her mom is Dizzy who is a 55 lbs. American Pit Bull mix. Dizzy was part of our November 12, 2022, transport from Bakersfield, CA. Her father is unknown.
