This gorgeous girl is Ginger . . . . AKA foxy lady. She has the softest coat and most strokeable ears.
Enjoys her walks, the longer the better and has great leash manners. She is very inquisitive and enjoys sniffing around trees and sifting through the undergrowth. She is amazingly well behaved on car rides.
Moderate prey drive, was very interested in rabbits in our neighborhood but was on leash and settled back down very quickly, off leash might have been a different scenario!
Ginger is very good in our yard, so far hasn’t attempted to jump our fence, we back onto an off leash so she sees other dogs frequently, she may bark once or twice to get the attention of dogs and their people but responds well to instruction of “quiet”. This gorgeous girl sleeps all night in her crate, is spotlessly clean in the house and hasn’t attempted to chew or spoil anything, she doesn’t seem to know too much about dog toys at the moment but has shown interest in a ball being thrown for her.
She does like a snuggle on the couch in the evenings but as she’s so nosey will be up and down to look out of the window if she hears activity outside. She gets on absolutely great with our female dog, who is the same size as her and there’s been no problems when she’s seen other dogs while out on walks.
Did I mention she is also good with children, when out and about families have asked if their children can say hello to her, we have given her a few seconds to settle and she has been approached and stroked, she seems to enjoy the attention. I would say Ginger would make a great pet for reasonably active people/families perhaps with children over the age of 5.
