Murray is a huge sweetheart and a very affectionate boy. He loves his people and bonds quickly, always seeking out pets and cuddles any chance he gets. He is also a big coach potato and loves lounging on any coach he can find. Murray does great in his crate both at night and when left alone and often goes into his crate when we are home to rest as it’s his safe place. Murray loves his food and treats so is very food motivated which makes training easier. Murray does well on leash for walks and does not pull if there are no other animals around. However, Murray does have leash reactivity to other dogs and small animals like rabbits and gophers and will whine and bark and lunge towards these guys if they get too close. Murray will need a strong and confident handler who can continue working on his reactivity. Murray does get along with other dogs with proper introductions and lived with another small dog in the home. Murray has also gets along well with children and has had no issues in this area. Murray has very good house manners and is also housetrained. Murray has learned to love to play and his favourite toys seem to be stuffy toys. Overall, Murray is a very handsome, loving and smart boy.
