Juliet (JJ) is an affectionate, outgoing, and playful girl. She is growing like a weed, and will likely grow into a tall, beautiful dog with unique markings. Her confidence with new situations has continued to grow daily, and she has really started to become more independent each day. JJ loves to go out into the yard and will spend time relaxing or chewing a bone outside on her own. Her favorite activity is going for walks, and she loves to sniff and explore. She is learning all about leash manners and is catching on quickly however needs continued training on how to walk on a loose leash and be less like a dog-shaped kite on the leash! She has mastered sit and down and will sit and look at you randomly if she thinks she may get a reward which is very cute. She is very food motivated which will make training easy. JJ is very good with her foster siblings and is learning to become respectful of their space. She also lives with a cat and is very interested in her but doesn’t pay too much attention. JJ is not a fan of being contained, either in a crate or exercise pen. She is something of a “spider-dog” and can easily traverse the 36inch wall of the ex-pen without losing a beat. She has been cordoned off in the kitchen when left during the day when her foster mom is at work and seems to prefer this. House training is coming along well - JJ will sleep the entire night with no accidents and does not whine in the night. Throughout the day she is learning to sit at the door when she needs to go outside, and accidents in the house are becoming much less frequent. Currently on workdays she is let out once midday and has been doing well with this. She is also good in the car and will travel in the front seat quietly. JJ will likely be a very athletic dog and will do well with an active home. She is a great little puppy and will be a wonderful family member!
