Male, 2 years, chihuahua X, 6 lbs

Topito is a sweet boy who is adjusting to life in Canada very well! He still needs his space and is a bit timid, but is happy to sit in his bed by the window, watch the world go by, and let you pet him. He will snuggle with you a bit, but still prefers his bed. I think I’ve only heard him bark once, he’s a quiet little guy. He’s been on a few visits/walks and has been very good with women, men, children and other dogs – no aggression at all. He’s learned to follow me on a leash and when it gets too cold he curls up into my arms. He does a great job of doing his business outside and has been just as quiet in the car as he is in the house. Apparently when he was first surrendered in California, it was with a few other dogs who he enjoyed spending time with. He hasn’t had any play dates with other dogs in Canada yet, but a few are scheduled and he may do best in a house with at least another dog.

Topito is being fostered in Calgary.
