Little ๐Ÿ€ Lucky ๐Ÿ€ Lady just happens to be our 7th foster dog (so sheโ€™s extra special lucky!) and she is full of love, life and laughs!!

She may be the smallest of mom Beverleyโ€™s litter of 11 but what she lacks in size she makes up for in spirit, brains and extreme cuteness. Sheโ€™s pictured a few times with her sister Story - who is already adopted - just for size comparison. She finally grew a bit and now her longer legs can get her up onto benches and the ottoman, but not quite the couch yet.

From her little nose to her wavy back and tail fur, this little ray of โ˜€๏ธ sunshine โ˜€๏ธ makes us smile everyday and best of all, sheโ€™s POTTY TRAINED! She rings the patio bells to go out and sometimes uses our dog door to let herself out.

In a few weeks in our care she:

โœ… has fallen in love with the outdoors and rolls in the grass, climbs our dog ramp, and loves playing in the snow โ„๏ธ

โœ… can sit so pretty for treats and to be let out of her xpen. She calmly sits on our kitchen mat waiting for her supper.

โœ… gives sweet little kisses and loves tummy rubs. She spends about 1/3 of her time playing upside down and sleeping upside down.

โœ… figured out how to roll the treat ball and knock over the kong dispenser for treats. Interactive toys - bring them on! Lucky learns things so quickly.

โœ… is a master stair climber and sometimes jumps off the second or third step to get to the bottom

โœ… Rides very well in a car and often falls asleep.

โœ… is quickly learning quiet pups get the attention but definitely wants to vocalize her excitement about life and playing (like border collies do)! She settles fairly quickly in her xpen during the day after a few attempts to get you to let her out first.

โœ… is being fairly respectful of our senior resident dogs - she really tries hard to get them to play, without succeeding by often. Lucky plays very well independently.

โœ… was great in the bath and slept through getting her nails clipped, twice already! Was an all-star at the vet office!

โœ… is happy to do her business outside vs in, and rings the bells when she needs to go out

โœ… sleeps well through the night in her crate with minimal noise and one mid-sleep potty break

โœ… does very well roaming free in the house without causing any damage so far and will tolerate being crated

โœ… walks fairly well on a leash and and keeps up with the pack, occasionally getting distracted by all the new smells but also not attacking the others while we walk

Little ๐Ÿ€ Lucky ๐Ÿ€ Lady is a very fun, sweet and adorable girl and will make the BEST forever dog - as a single pet or part of a family. Sheโ€™s our smallest foster pup at 12 weeks so far, and Itโ€™s honestly hard to capture her adorableness in pictures - maybe because sheโ€™s often moving. If we were ready to become a three dog family we would keep this sweet girl in a heartbeat. โ™ฅ๏ธ
