Meet Homer! Homer is the happiest goofball and is looking for his forever family to spoil him the way he deserves!

This pup walks well on a leash, though he has a strong prey drive and loves to say hi to everyone along the walk, he generally stays next to you the whole way. Homer has done very well with our dog and has never shown any reactive behaviour towards him, they play really well together and Homer loves cuddling and copying him. Homer has met other dogs always with a slow introduction and has done very well. Based on this, he is good with other dogs as long as we take it slow. On walks Homer has shown selectiveness when approached by other dogs, I think a bit of training could help him with this. He is very food motivated and is keen to learn simple tricks with ease.

Homer is learning car rides mean fun adventures and he has become much more willing to get in the car and is very calm in the car.

Homer has loved every person he has met and wants to be the center of attention, he even loves the vet. At times, he is not aware of his size and he can get excited. He would probably be great with kids as he's tolerant of being touched and poked but with his size and energy he might unintentionally knock a small child over. He tends to be a bit mouthy when it comes to playing, never biting just light nibbles, when he's lost some of his puppy energy and has learned some better manners it will be easy to train out of him. I think he'd be a great family dog.

At home, Homer gets his bursts of energy but is often calmly chewing on his toys or sleeping somewhere. Homer is house and crate trained, and will sleep through the night in his crate or in our spare room. He also does great home alone usually left in his crate or our spare room.

Homey is such a sweet boy he's always happy (he actually smiles) and is always wagging his tail and excited for a "goodboy" or a pat. He has so much puppy in him and so much love to give his new family!
