This young sweet boy is in foster so we have plenty of info on him.
From the foster, Oscar loves playing fetch and lying in the hammock. He plays with soft toys, he doesn't chew on plastic or rubber ones so we play fetch with a rope or a stuffed animal toy.
He is getting comfortable and has started to jump on the bed but he does not jump unless I allow him to.
He also doesn't like water, but he will let you bathe him even though he’ll try to get out before it’s over. He is potty trained and is being kennel trained.
He LOVES belly scratches, even if he’s being scolded because he did something wrong, he goes down and shows his belly to be scratched.
He likes to get some sun in the morning before it is too hot, and sleep the whole day long. If the temperature allows it, he stays in his corner bed during the day, but if it gets too hot he sleeps on the floor near my computer chair or in the bathroom if he still wants a cooler place to lay down.
The only thing he doesn’t like is strangers, just takes him some time to warm up. He was in pretty rough shape when he was brought to the shelter and was scared. He has come out of his shell quite a bit.
