Meet Jocelyne. This gorgeous girl was found by animal control in Leduc County, with 2 of her puppies. She definitely had more than 2 in her litter, but sadly they weren’t found. It’s hard to imagine this sweet girl is a mama already, Jocelyne herself is still a puppy!

She had some medical issues after having this litter, and had to be spayed immediately once she arrived in foster care. She’s recovering perfectly, with no concerns whatsoever. While the cone life isn’t her favourite, she’s still the sweetest, happiest girl.

She’s currently in foster with two other dogs. She has a great personality, and would likely fit well in any pack…or as an only dog. Jocelyne is incredibly social, and greets everyone with a wagging tail. She’s also very quiet. While she’s always listening and watching, she hasn’t barked once since she’s arrived in foster. And she’s had plenty to bark at with all the new sights and noises.

Jocelyne does seem to have some slight issues relaxing enough to go potty. She seems to have performance anxiety, and gets distracted easily by anything and everything. We’re working on building her confidence so knows she’s safe enough to let her guard down to pee.

She’s well on her way with all her basic commands, and she’s been great in her crate at night. She’s had no accidents in the home since arriving in foster, and while she does have performance anxiety when going potty, she does know how to tell you she needs to go outside. She loves riding in the car, but is a little unsure of how to get into it. While she is very food motivated, she has shown no signs of food aggression at all. She’s learning to wait her turn while in foster, and she’s doing very well.
