Kenan Bio Update:
Kenan is a very affectionate dog. He lives in our home with our two small kids who adore him and our resident dog who treats him like a little brother. He loves to engage in play with other dogs and is friendly to all. He tolerates our kids climbing over him and occasionally pulling his tail. He is very food focused and will counter surf for crumbs. He enjoys the car and walks very well on a leash. He is completely house trained but does have separation anxiety when left alone and can be destructive. He is a very submissive dog so we strongly feel as though he’d do best in a home with at least one confident alpha dog.


Kenan is the best of both worlds. He has puppy energy when he wants to play but can be a couch potato when needed. He loves to snuggle, lay across your lap or spoon on the couch. He’s great with other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog, untested with cats and good with kids. He is food motivated so we are still teaching him that not all food is his. He knows the sit command, is crate trained and completely house trained. He barks very minimally and is eager to please. We have noticed he has mild separation anxiety but only for one member of our household. He’s good on a leash and enjoys short walks as of right now because he is still adjusting to the cold weather. Everyone he meets comments on his soft fur, and we have yet to notice much shedding at all. He is a sweet dog with so much potential, whoever adopts him should consider themselves lucky.
