Hi, I’m Patti but my foster parents call me all sorts of things like Dobby, Patricia, Patio Lantern, Patio Beers, and many more. I am just under a year old and still have plenty of puppy energy. I weigh about 35lbs and think I’m a mix of Pitbull and Weimaraner, which is where I got these eyes that’ll melt your heart!

I love to curl up in a little ball and cuddle with my people. I have separation anxiety when they leave, but we’re working on that. The trainer says the sooner I can get into my forever home, the easier it can be. My affection is very enthusiastic and I like to jump up on people and give lunging kisses but am learning more gentle ways to show my love which means I may be a little too reckless for small children.

I am quite smart, I correct and learn quickly but can be very sneaky and mischievous, I love to chew anything and everything with my baby raptor teeth.

I love to play with other dogs but am not great at taking their signals and continue to try to play even if they tell me no. I have shown very sporadic and random instances of slight aggression towards my foster sister but have been doing better lately. I would probably do best with another young high energy sibling!

I am still learning leash manners but don’t show any signs of prey drive or wanting to chase smaller animals, though I do like to stop and stare. I like to protect my humans by growling and barking to let them know when people or dogs or cars or animals pass by the house but I quiet down quickly when told to.

I will definitely need some work, attention, and training but I’m so smart, sweet, and eager to please that with the right people I will become the best dog!
