Prairie is a little firecracker; she has her moments of intense playing and then goes into full relax mode. She still has plenty of puppy in her and is a very curious dog that likes to roam the house. A good walker but is still learning how to stay focused during her time out and about, loves to sniff. She is very comfortable with other dogs, as well as enjoying her own time to be independent. Everyday Prairie spends time with someone she becomes more trusting and confidence levels increase as her funny antics start to show. She looks forward to her cuddle before it’s time to go to sleep and will try to sneak up from time to time to curl up with you.

Though a little nervous around strangers, once Prairie gets to know you she has lots of love to give and warms up to everyone quickly.

Good around other dogs, she probably would enjoy having a friend close to her own age for play time and running around the back yard.

Any home with lots of love,

· A fully fenced yard, where she can drop her guard, feel comfortable and relax in the sun.

· She enjoys her walks twice a day, stays by your side as she builds her confidence.

· Lots of activity, loud noises, or unexpected movements, do distract her especially when she is outside on walks.

· Car rides are a work in progress, she is nervous and stays low. Repeated short drives are helping her become comfortable in a moving vehicle.

· We’re not sure how she would react to cats or children.
