Meet Philip:

He is really a sweet guy, but so fearful of the world. He takes time to warm up to anyone new and will still grumble and huff if he gets uncomfortable. He is food motivated and was progressing nicely with training.

Philip is an owner surrender that became too much for his adopter and is being returned to BARC’s. He needs an experienced owner willing to give him firm guidance and teach him the world isn’t that scary.

Philip is very unpredictable around small dogs and cats would not be recommended. Short and frequent exposure to dogs in a controlled setting would be ideal to help Philip overcome his issues.

BARCs Rescue will supply training to a committed home willing to help Philip be the best dog he can be.
