“Nikkie is a friendly, affectionate, and loving girl looking for her forever home!

Nikkie loves other dogs and wants to play with every dog she meets. She is leash-trained, and while she can pull when she’s excited (especially if there is a squirrel ahead!), she is learning to control her impulses. She is smart and food-motivated, and would learn well with someone who is willing to take the time to teach her new skills. Nikkie also loves people, and is good with children.

She is crate-trained, and happy to hang out in her crate while you’re away (especially if you leave her with a treat!). She is also house-trained and doesn’t have accidents indoors. She understands what she can and can’t do around the house as long as rules are laid out clearly.

At a year old, she is a large puppy, so if you live an active lifestyle or have a backyard to play in, she would love to run around with you! As a social girl who is still working on her confidence, Nikkie would do well with other dogs in the house to make her feel safe and part of a pack.”
