Looking for the perfect furry companion to join your family? Meet Konnie (although my foster mom calls me “Dahlia” because I’m pretty as a flower!), a Terrier mix who has traveled all the way from California to find her forever home!

Konnie (Dahlia) is truly an exceptional dog—she’s a shining example of great behavior and a true delight to be around. This sweet girl with her soulful eyes is always eager to please, with a constant wagging tail and a heart full of love to give. Whether it’s patiently waiting for her treats, mastering new commands with ease, or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, Konnie (Dahlia) is a true gem of a dog.

Her calm demeanor and gentle nature make her the ideal companion for just about anyone—from families with children to active singles to retirees looking for a loyal friend. Konnie (Dahlia) has impeccable manners once she learns the rules and routines, which shouldn’t take long as she is highly intelligent. She lives with three other dogs and gets along well with all of them, including a grumpy Chihuahua. On walks, she is friendly with other dogs and all types of people, and walks well on a leash.

Konnie (Dahlia) is learning that being crate-trained isn’t so bad, especially when a yummy treat is involved. Her favorite activities are going for long walks, playing with toys and other dogs, and cuddling next to her human. The only time foster mom has heard her bark is when she’s been startled or while she’s being protective.
