Meet Pancake!

Here is the bad/sad: Pancake had two masses removed from her mammary glands. One tested negative and one tested positive for cancer. It was also determined that we did not clear the margarines of the cancerous mass. To do this would require another surgery - which the adopter could choose to do or not.

She also has some bad teeth on the one side that will need to be pulled. This will be a cost sharing to the adopter.

The vet also thought she might be older than 8 years but cannot confirm. They also thought that she may or may not only have about 2 to 3 years to live.

Now the good!! Pancake is the least problematic dog I have had the pleasure of fostering (and I have fostered a lot 100+). She growls at my dog and my cats when she has had enough. She is potty trained; however, this recent cold snap had her pooing inside. She will use a pee pad to do this. We have her on a mix of a raw kibble and wet food that she thoroughly enjoys. She loves to love and be with her people. She just wants to cuddle all day long. She wants to sleep in the bed at night. She doesn’t like the kennel much but will stay in it if needed.

What she wants as a forever home: Pancake is looking for someone who will give her the best remaining years of her life. However long or short that may be! She would like someone who is home often or can bring her with them. If you think this is you please apply.
