Are you looking for a tiny cuddle bug to follow you around wherever you go? A partner who loves going for long walks and stopping to smell all the flowers? Look no further than Parade (aka Mr. P or Mr. Parade Prince), a cautious yet curious chihuahua mix who will be your best friend for life!

Parade is very food motivated so is very fast to learn new skills and manners (although can be a little picky when it comes to kibble, he prefers something a little mushier and smellier). He is still working on learning that attention comes when all 4 paws are on the ground but learns very fast! So far, he’s learned to sit in 2 short training sessions and will already sit, even on walks. Potty-training was a breeze, he’s had the odd accident but always prefers to do his business outside in the yard or on walks and has never had an accident in his crate. He sleeps all night in his crate without so much as a peep as long as he can see his human.

While Parade has not yet had much experience with larger dogs, he would love a friend in the home to help show him the ropes and to learn to play with (he’s starting to try to play with my resident pups but they are not super keen). Kids and new people are a little scary still but Parade warms up to most people fairly quickly – he’s still a young pup and is taking it all in, learning that people are good treat dispensers! Parade is great on leash and is unbothered by passing cars and bicycles.
