It's Buster's world, we're all just living in it! You will never meet a happier boy than this guy. Buster is absolutely living his best life at every moment, so there are no bad days with Buster around! Buster is absolutely going to be a perpetual puppy, he's always on the go, and likes to cause mischief, such as stealing your socks or destuffing his toys. He's always so happy about it though, it's hard to be upset.
Buster loves other dogs and adores children. Buster would love to have a buddy around his size to play with as this boy likes to be active. Buster is in a foster home with a cat, that he mostly just ignores.
Buster has been working on his house training and has done pretty well. He will use a pee pad at night if he needs to go, but generally goes outside to do his business. He hasn't learned to ask to go out, so is taken outside every couple hours which has worked for him.
Buster has occasionally attempted to mark in the house, so wears the boy wrap of shame if something changes within the house that could make him feel that he needs to claim it as his. He is pretty good over all though, so may be something he stops doing once he settles into his forever home.
Buster did come into foster care with a couple wonky legs, after having them x-rayed, we learned that his back leg just happens to be a slight bit shorter than the other, his front leg may have been a birth defect or injury, but it was nothing recent, and since it doesn't slow him down one bit, there is nothing to do other than appreciate the extra cuteness of his bounce. He still enjoys long walks, still runs and plays with his toys, still chases his foster sisters around the house for hours and is generally on the go most of the day. A forever family would need to watch for quality-of-life changes (which may or may not happen due to his leg) and work with their vet if the time arose. We know taking on a dog with potential future mobility issues can be scary, but we know this boy is absolutely worth it, he just needs someone in his corner, that will provide him the forever family he so deserves.
