Nissan 🚙

He’s a bit of a tank weighing in at just over 26lbs at only 12 weeks old, but he makes up for it by being one of the most cuddly puppies I’ve ever met.

Nissan has been steadily progressing with his basic training since arriving in foster just over a week ago - sleeping almost through the night (so close!!), pottying outside (he’s consistent as long as you remember to bring him out), sitting on command, and even learning to shake a paw already.

One of his siblings was in foster with him the first week he was here, and while he can definitely match puppy energy when he wants/needs to, he’d rather not. His brother was much spunkier than him and kept him on his toes. Now that he’s gone Nissan’s shown us he’s a much more laid back little guy. He appreciates a good snuggle session, or a nap in your lap. He gives the best bear hugs. While he was barky when his brother was here, he’s proved to actually be fairly quiet for the most part. He sits back and observes most of the time. He’s just happy to be here.

But don’t be fooled, he’s still very much a normal silly puppy. He grabs at hoodie strings, long hair, shoe laces and anything else that swings into view. He growls cutely and shakes his stuffies until they ‘submit’. He can quietly sneak upstairs, but hasn’t figured out how to come down them yet. And he chases our resident dog around the house hoping she’ll wrestle with him (he almost weighs as much as she does).

He’s been a really fun little guy to have here while he’s looking for his furever family. Whoever adopts Nissan is going to have a bestie for life 💙
