Since being introduced to our family, Cindy has been quite comfortable and relaxed in our home.

She seems to love children (ours are 10 and 16) and Cindy just loves to be around them, as well she gets excited when seeing kids of all ages on her walks.

She is overall incredibly friendly and doesn’t seem to make strange, if someone is at the door she will initially bark and then run away but quickly comes back to say hi and get pets.

She co-exists with our dog well, neither of them seems interested in playing or hanging out together, but they are good in each other's spaces. Except at feeding time. Cindy guards her food (and empty bowl), and we have been feeding her downstairs while our dog eats upstairs. Cindy quickly picked up the routine and runs straight downstairs as soon as I put food in her bowl. She will sit and stay (for approx 5 seconds) but then rushes to her food the second the bowl is on the ground. We are using a slow feeding bowl for her, and she still eats in record time.

She loves treats and is very good sitting for them, as well she will sit beside my dog while I give them each their treat. She does use her teeth some when taking the treat but does not bite down on my fingers hard.

She was very curious about our cat at first and would just sniff him, but now has taken to chasing him. We are working on this by calling her back (works sometimes) and calling her to come for a treat if she persists, and then praise her for leaving the cat alone. She is very treat motivated and so this works.

She is extremely affectionate and will lay down on top of anyone who is lying on the sofa and loves to get right into our faces to give kisses. She is very playful and loves to play tug and fetch and has claimed a couple of our dogs' toys as her new favourites lol.

She walks extremely well on a leash, no pulling, is not easily distracted and does not bark at other dogs while out. She does hate having her harness put on and off though, although she does allow it with struggle.

She knows sit, stay (won’t hold it for more than a few seconds though), and shake paw. She sleeps very well in her crate and doesn’t bark at all throughout the night. She is also an incredible jumper, she jumps over our sofa from behind in one leap. Also, she is good at standing on her back paws to reach counters, so are careful to make sure nothing is in her reach.
