Aquila

Adopted

Description

Female, 2 years, pit bull X

Aquila is a moderate energy dog who loves walks but also loves her naps and doesn’t seem to show any separation anxiety. She enjoys her kennel and will go lay in it on her own free will as well as when commanded to. She is housetrained and has not had a single accident in the house. She rides well in the car, sitting nicely in the backseat. I’m not sure about cats but she didn’t seem to be too concerned as mine is mostly outside; my cat was looking in the window and Aquila was checking her out but didn’t become agitated or excited, just curious. She does bark at times but it’s not excessive and stops when directed. She has some basic obedience and listens well. She loves her snacks and treats and eats well. I’ve introduced her to some other dogs and she is a bit enthusiastic in her approach but not aggressive. As she came from a home with children I feel a family home would be a good placement. Aquila is an absolute sweetheart and will be an amazing family dog. I’ll be sad to see her go but I know she will have great life in her forever home as she is a great dog.

Aquila is being fostered in Cranbrook, BC.
