MacDuff is a giant, gentle baby! He has all the energy of a puppy, loves to run, even with just 3 legs he has been good jogging next to us, and even run next to us skateboarding. He gets zoomies every morning (he’s definitely a morning guy) He walks really well, sometimes just has the clumsy stumbles.
He doesn’t know commands yet, but we have been working on sitting and laying down. He seems to respond more to “Duff” but doesn’t have recall yet.
He loves to play tug of war, peanut buttered Kongs and anything squeaky. He does puppy chew still, will even tries to chew on your feet.
He sleeps well in his crate at night, but barks in it during the day. He does have separation anxiety and will whine and bark if we are in a different room. He wakes up every morning at 9am sharp!
He has no issue eating/drinking, had solid stool since we got him. We feed him in a slow feeder because he devours his food and will beg while we’re cooking but won’t steal food. He is not food or toy aggressive.
He is very protective. Does not like anyone on the other side of the fence, doesn’t stop barking at our neighbours until he is out of sight. But we had visitors come into our yard/house and he was fine with them.
We walked him by the river a few times and he likes to go for a quick butt sploosh!
MacDuff doesn’t have issues with women but does show fear towards certain men.
He is EXCELLENT with our cat! Couldn’t be more impressed with him! Respects her, gives her space and tries to play with her but she couldn’t care less. He doesn’t go in her litterbox and completely respects her.
He can’t go upstairs and needs help getting in the car, so a lower car would be best.
He is overall a GREAT AMAZING DOG! Very cuddly and playful. He is BEAUTIFUL,
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL! What a majestic beast with such a big heart. Has the funniest
personality and makes us laugh all the time. He loves exploring and sniffing around.
