Lola

Adopted

Description

Female, 5 years, German shepherd, 63 lbs

She comes to the front of the cage, easy to leash but she pulls and she is strong, will need leash training. She may be potty trained since she went potty as soon as she got to the grass. She can be vocal when she is nervous but gets quiet when she gets relaxed and more comfortable. She is tolerant with touch, easy to exam mouth and able to pet head and entire body. She seems curious and friendly when meeting people and she will approach with wagging tail and sniff. She showed no interest in toys or treats. Will continue to work with and monitor progress.

Took Lola out today for dog to dog interaction, she saw the other dog and became excited, vocal, and pulling on the leash. When she approached she was wagging tail and sniffing. Even though she was excited she was polite with her sniffing and easily backed away when asked. Due to her excitement a dog to dog is recommended. When out in the yard she is curious of her surroundings, she was quiet, and she may be potty trained but showed no evidence of commands. No obvious signs of injury or illness seen at this time.
**No cats.
