He's high energy, loves people. I haven't had a chance to test him with dogs but we were out in the yard and the two Collies next door were at the fence barking their heads off. Mack was interested but not concerned and came right away when I called him. Have not tested him with cats. He's taller than he looks in his pictures.

Mack is very smart and very focused when it comes to his ball. Ball is life. He learns very quickly and has already learned Sit, Stay, Place, Careful (which means he needs to slow down on the stairs). He knows Wait, and will wait at the door for the okay to go through it. When playing fetch with the ball, using Wait ensures he sits and doesn't bark while you throw the ball.

Mack would excel in scent training and even Search and Rescue. He's intent on what he wants and never forgets where anything is. I think he has some Pointer in him because he's very good at pointing at what he needs when you ask him. Touch training would suit him very well.

He's fully housetrained and crate trained. He's in his crate while I'm at work and I let him sleep on the bed. He doesn't wander around and doesn't take up too much space in the bed, preferring to settle at your feet. He loves being covered by a blanket and wraps himself up fully. He doesn't snore.

He's an amazing dog, wanting to trust and love fully. He would do amazingly well with someone who has the time and energy to train him in all the things he could learn and who could throw a ball for an hour (or is willing to invest in an automatic ball launcher lol). He's not ready to go for very long walks, his conditioning isn't there yet and he's still learning leash-walking but he'll figure that out in no time flat.
