What can I say about this sweet, adorable, playful, timid but brave, happy little girl?  She is so easy going and gets along with everyone she meets (except perhaps squirrels).  She has not met any cats or children while here but given her happy, friendly temperament I don't think either would be a problem.  She has gone up to every person we have come across for pets and has been happy when introduced to friends' dogs.  Her tail rarely stops wagging.  She did great in the bath and for her haircut.  She actually seemed to enjoy the pampering and definitely was happy with her new 'do' (I included a couple of Before pictures for reference).  She goes to the bathroom outside in the yard.  I am not sure if she had ever been walked before.  It took her 8 days of 3 or 4 walks a day to leave my immediate vicinity.  She would either be directly behind me or beside me, then on the 8th day she started going ahead and venturing into the grass for sniffers.  She rarely goes to the bathroom on walks but will go within a couple of minutes of getting back to the yard.  Nancy will bark at people walking by when she is sitting in our window or out in the yard but she does 'shush' when told to.  I don't think she has had any training and she gets VERY excited about food/ treats so finds it hard to concentrate.  We are working on 'sit' and she is getting it quicker and quicker.  I think Nancy would do well anywhere as long as there is love and cuddles.
