"Laid-back and smart, Falkor will settle into any home relatively quickly. He came a long way from being a stray to now mostly crate, leash, and potty trained. His greatest asset is his ability to learn extremely quickly while remaining calm and quiet.

Things to work on: Because of his past and his age, Falkor tends to chew and eat random things so his owner should be very watchful of him in every environment. He will counter-surf while you aren't watching. He is learning the "Leave it" command really quickly but will need consistency. He also needs enforced naps.
Energy Level: Falkor doesn't seem as energetic as a typical BC mix, but his ideal owner should be prepared to spend an adequate amount of time to tire him out physically and mentally.
Crate: As long as the owner spends 5-10 minutes by his side, he will not whine or bark. He can now settle no problem. He will nap 3-6 hours a day and he will also sleep through the night.
Potty: As long as Falkor gets taken out every few hours, he won't have an accident in the home.
Leash: He is a very curious boy and will look around, sniff, and lick random things. In the two weeks he'ls been here, he has made significant progress walking on a leash but will need consistency.
Other animals: On walks, Falkor is curious about other animals and children but does not bark at them. He will chase down some cats, squirrels, and birds. In our foster care, we do not have other animals or children so we cannot say for sure but because he is so laid-back, we feel he would do well with children and animals given slow introductions.
Car/Shower Time: He's still learning about what car and shower time is. He's reluctant to get in at first, but gets calm really quickly.

Overall, Falkor is a champ of a puppy - adaptable, resilient, smart, and relaxed. A perfect gentleman."
