Male, 8 years, German Shepherd/Chow Chow X, 82 lbs

He comes to the front of the kennel, easy to leash, walks well on the leash. He went out to the small yard and seems to be very potty trained. He showed no interest in toys. Once back inside he was relaxed and wagging his tail when interacting with testers. He is tolerant with touch, easy to exam mouth, ears, feet, tail, and able to pet head and entire body. He showed interest in treats, takes them gently, and he knows sit, down, and shake. He met a cat and seem friendly. He met another dog and approached with wagging tail and was polite. No obvious signs of injury or illness seen at this time.

This dog has just arrived in care and is currently unavailable for adoption. It will go into foster care for 1 week so we can get to know their personalities better. After the first week, we will post their adoption biographies and review adoption applications or announce that the foster provider has adopted them. At that time, if you would like to be considered in the event they are accepting applications, please fill out an adoption application.
