she travels very well in the car in her crate. She is very quiet and sleeps most of the time while in the car.
she is a very smart and inquisitive girl.
She is energetic, playful and settles nicely too.
She is potty trained and crate trained. She does not like to go into the crate on her own but she does not make a fuss about it when inside.
She has slept 6-8 hours through the night in her crate.
She has had no accidents in the house or in her crate.
She has a nice habit of sitting once she comes inside the house. This was helpful for cleaning off her paws.
At times she would paw at the door when she wanted to go out. Other times, she would stop whatever she was doing and move towards the stairs, indicating she wanted to go out.
She would do well with a fenced yard as she likes to chase her ball around for exercise.
She does well when you put her collar and harness on. She enjoyed walks but also showed some hesitancy depending on the sights and sounds. She did not go pee or poop on the walks, she preferred the dog run for that.
She was not 100% sure of the stairs (no risers) but she would follow us with encouragement.
She does not seem to be sensitive to touch; she lets you touch her feet, ears, and mouth without issue. She is happy to be picked up.
She did not show any food or item aggression.
She has not warmed up to the bath or hair dryer yet but I think she just needs a few exposures to it. (We washed her feet and belly after a post-rain walk).
She has the puppy tendency to grab random items, but we’ve been working on “let go” using treats or chew toys. She likes toys that can you put treats in and has to think about.
She does not react to other dogs barking at her. When she sees other dogs, she just stares at them.
She will sit quietly when you eat your food; she did not beg for any food from us at the table.
She has been friendly with men and women. No problem when meeting people.
She has a calm demeanour, loves to lay on any soft surface.
Minor shedding, easily manageable with brushing and routing vacuuming.
She isn't fond of a brush but she will let you brush her if she is calm and tempted with treats:)
