🐾 Meet Pauly – The Snuggle-Seeking, Zoomie-Loving Goofball! 🐾

Hey there, future best friend! My name is Pauly, and I’m a 53lb bundle of love, energy, and just the right amount of mischief. I’m a 9-month-old pup who’s still figuring out this whole "being a house dog" thing, but I promise—I’m working on it!

🦴 Playtime & Pals:

I LOVE playing with my little foster sisters (15lb & 20lb), but I’m a big, bouncy boy, so a dog closer to my size might be a better match. I’m learning my manners, and so far, I’ve only landed on a foster sibling’s head once (okay, maybe twice… but it was an accident, I swear!). I enjoy epic games of chase through the house and will keep you laughing with my goofy antics.

🐱 Cats?

I haven’t officially met any yet, but I don’t seem to have much of a prey drive. That said, when I get excited, I sometimes accidentally try to fit my foster sister’s head in my mouth (don’t worry, she tells me off right away). So, dog-savvy cats might be okay—though they may not appreciate my enthusiasm!

👶 Kids?

I haven’t been around children yet, but I love people and cuddles, so I’d probably make a great family member! I do get excited and can be a little mouthy, so older kids or supervision would be best while I learn my manners.

🚗 Car Rides?

Oh yeah! I was a perfect gentleman on my ride from Airdrie to Fernie. Let’s go on adventures together!

🎾 Training & Manners:

House Training? Still working on it! My foster parent takes me out frequently, and I’m getting better every day.

Leash Skills? Pretty good! I pull a little but mostly just stop to take in the sights (and sometimes need a confidence-boosting snuggle to keep moving).

Barking? I have a dramatic streak—if my foster siblings go outside without me, I may howl like it’s the end of the world. I’m also not a fan of the steam cleaner. But overall, I’m not too vocal.

Crate Training? I’m learning! But I did stealthily chew through two harnesses in my first couple of days… oops.

💛 The Perfect Home for Me:

I’m looking for an active family that understands what it means to have a high-energy, super-smart puppy. I may have been listed as a Shepherd mix, but I give off major Lab and Border Collie vibes—loving, goofy, and maybe a little too clever for my own good! While I’d probably enjoy farm life, my favorite thing in the world is being with my people, so I need a home where I get lots of love and snuggles.

I may not be perfect yet, but I have SO much love to give and just need someone patient and committed to helping me grow into the amazing dog I know I can be. Could that be you? 💙
