Preston is the cuddliest puppy I have had the opportunity to foster yet! If you don’t want to be loved, this is not the dog for you! Lol. Whether I am sitting or standing, as long as he is touching me in some way, he is happy. He can go from 0-> 60 when I am ready to move, go on a walk or run and 60 -> 0 when I am ready to sit and relax. Which is perfect with a busy life and family.

Preston originally came to me as he was in a home that the cat didn’t like him but on his way in, he touched noses with our cat, and they parted ways. While he would love to play with the cat, he will leave him alone when he’s not in the mood too. He is great with my kids and both other dogs (including a grouchy chihuahua). He is perfectly house trained (not a single accident in the house so far), Crate trained for anytime I am away or at nights and has great response to a quick “uh-uh”. He will stop, drop, and turn around to see what you need as soon as her hears those two little vowel noises.

I feel like I love something new about every single pup I foster and I keep lucking out! Seems I love each one more than the last for very different reasons. The lack of accidents, even when excited feels like SUCH a win. He did chew his bed before he got here that he came here with so I wonder if left alone, not in his kennel, maybe he would “bored chew” but I haven’t tested it. Nor would I. I like my things. Also, he never poops on walks and has one main hidden corner of the yard that he will only do his business in. Super weird and funny. Also makes for easy pick up! He’s a dream pup and if I was allowed to foster fail, this one may have gotten me good!
