Topher is an absolutely adorable pittie in a small package. Despite his size, he has the biggest heart!

Topher loves people of all ages and is very polite with children, sitting down calmly to get pets from them.

He enjoys playing with other dogs and loves to roughhouse with his canine foster brother. He has met dogs of all sizes and does well with all. He is however a bit pushy, so does best with dogs that don’t mind him being in their personal space.

Topher also lives with a cat. He is still learning boundaries and does have instinct to chase, so a home without cats may be ideal but we are still learning if his intention is to play or to eat!

He does well in the car, but may need a boost to get in.

Topher has had a couple accidents in the home but is now fully house-trained. While settling into a new environment he may just need more frequent trips outside.

He is still learning leash skills, but is improving every day. Don’t be fooled by his size, this guy can pull! He would like to make friends with everyone in the neighbourhood so he is learning to stay with his handler and walk at an appropriate pace.

Topher is not a very vocal dog but will bark when he is overly excited or if being barked at by another dog.

Topher is crate trained and while he is still young, should likely be kept in a crate when unattended as he can be destructive when left unsupervised. He does not appear to have separation anxiety, but is always happiest when hanging out with his people!

This guy is snuggly and sweet and would be a great match for nearly any home. He is a great companion as he loves running around and going on adventures, and then having a cuddle sesh afterwards.
