I’m a slim & trim guy at 55 lbs, and my coat is beautiful & shiny! I have the most adorable ears that flop up & down when I walk.

Stairs… No problem! Snow… Love it! Car rides… Let’s go!

Need to go to work? No problem, I’ll hang out in my crate and have a snooze till your return.

I enjoy my walks and checking out the neighborhood. Sometimes I’m a bit unsure of new things & noises and need some reassurance from my mom. I’m doing well on a leash; sometimes I like to go wandering around and have to be redirected. Sometimes I get tired and have to lay down for a few seconds.

I LOVE bum scratches, ear rubs, leg massages, and belly rubs! I’ll give you my belly all day long for you to rub.

I sleep through the night quietly and enjoy sleeping in. I also don’t hog the bed or steal the covers.

I’m very gentle and calm around food & treats—so gentle you can barely tell I’ve taken the treat out of your hand. I counter-surfed once and grabbed myself a full rotisserie chicken, but I got scolded and haven’t tried that again.

It took me a few days, but I’ve finally opened up with cuddling and being more playful. I’m not sure what to do with toys though; maybe another furry friend could teach me?

I’ve tried to chase down a rabbit or two but haven’t succeeded yet. Not sure how I would react if I met a cat.

I’ve seen a few dogs around the neighborhood, and I didn’t mind them at all. I’m not overly interested in them right now; I’m working on healing from my surgery.

My ideal forever home would provide:

Structure, praise, and encouragement to build my confidence even more.

A backyard I can run around in, maybe some kids to chase & play with.

A furry friend to hang out with who can teach me to "dog."

A comfy couch to cuddle up with my family.

Daily belly rubs are a MUST.
