Hi, I’m Hawkins, and I just want to move. I’ve got these 4 legs, and they just love to run. One of my favorite things is for my sister or foster brother to chase me to get whatever I may have in my mouth, from a toy, a bone or my favorite, a stick or leaf I found outside. I like to smuggle them into the house. Then I hide in little spaces so my big foster brother can’t get me.

I like all dogs, but some are scary at first. But my foster mom says I’m okay, and I warm up to them quickly. The same goes for loud sounds and barking dogs. I’m just not used to that stuff yet but feel that I am getting braver.

I am learning to walk on a leash and my foster mom says I am a good walker. She is also trying to teach me that going to the bathroom outside is the right thing to do, but sometimes I forget when I am having too much fun playing.

When I’m not running around and wanting to play, I love getting some well-deserved bully rubs and will give kisses in return.
