Sakari is a beautiful year-old husky mix who loves a good walk as much as she enjoys relaxing in her bed.

Sakari lives with 2 other dogs and a cat. She is great with them all, although would prefer older/more relaxed dog companions. She shows very little interest in the resident cat.

She loves going on walks and has decent leash skills. She prefers a slower pace with lots of time for sniffing.

Sakari travels well in the car and jumps in all by herself. She will sit quietly in the backseat while you reach your destination.

She is not a very loud dog, and only barks occasionally.

Sakari is not a fan of the crate, so we are working on building a positive association to it. When she is left alone in her foster home, she is given her own space in an ensuite bathroom to relax in. She does well in there provided she has enrichment and a comfy place to lay down.

Sakari is about 80% house trained and is well on her way to getting to that 100%!

She is an absolutely lovely girl who really enjoys snuggles, pets, and time with her humans. She has not been tested with children but will likely do well.
