He knows all the basic commands and he has a sweet, endearing personality and loves to be around people. He does well with kids and other dogs but will benefit from slow, proper introductions to ensure a positive outcome.

Rufus LOVES car rides and enjoys long walks, but he’s just as happy with a few shorter strolls during the day. He’s a playful boy who loves a good game of fetch—though he might not always bring the ball back!
Rufus does amazing in his kennel, sleeping through the night without barking or whining. He’s only kenneled when left alone at home; otherwise, he has free reign of the house.
He’s great with other dogs, children, and people but benefits from slow introductions to ensure every experience is positive. He’s still learning not to jump up when he’s excited, but with a little patience, he’ll get the hang of it!
If you’re into yoga, Rufus might just make the perfect partner—he’s always curious and eager to be involved, so with a little guidance, he’ll be right there stretching alongside you (though maybe a bit too close at first)!
Rufus is almost fully house-trained, but when he drinks a lot of water quickly, a quick trip outside helps avoid accidents.
