Lil Kim has been a sweetheart since I began fostering her. She loves to cuddle and be around people. House guests are greeted with tail wags and her full, loving attention.

Lil Kim is also good with other dogs and plays very well with my resident dog. At the pet store, even though she was nervous in the new environment, she still greeted other dogs and people wonderfully. She just needs more exposure to new environments to gain confidence.

She is house-trained and kennel-trained. I have left her alone for 20–30 minutes, and all was well. However, I recommend slowly building up the time she is left out and continuing to use the kennel for longer periods since she is still young and learning.

Her energy level is medium. When I first brought her home, I thought she would need a lot of exercise and a yard, but with proper walks, attention, and playtime with people, she will do fine in a townhouse or condo.

She did well at a busy adoption event at the Home Renovation Show. She was nervous but still greeted people and took treats. Her only exposure to children was at this event, and she took treats from them and licked their faces. While she might knock over small children, it would only be because she wants to love them and give them a lick on the face.

She is okay with car rides.

Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

I am currently working on her leash training. Thankfully, she is treat- and positive-attention-motivated, and she wants to please people. If she can't greet other dogs on walks, she may pull and whine, but this can be addressed with leash training. She is also learning the commands for "sit," "stay," and "place."

Lil Kim is a sensitive gem who just wants love and positive attention from people. She will make a great addition to a loving home.
